Dr. Bethany Whittier grew up in St. Peter and graduated from St. Peter High School in 2007. She then attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in biology. After college, Dr. Whittier attended University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Whittier graduated with high distinction and received the Alpha Omega award, which recognizes the highest academic standing in her dental class.
Dr. Whittier joined Riverside Dental Care in July of 2015. Since the start of her career, she has become more enthusiastic about the advancements in dental technology and strives to provide comfortable, quality dental care to all her patients.
Dr. Whittier enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and hiking. When she’s not at the office you can find her spending time with her family, which now includes two young sons, Micah and Sawyer. She looks forward to establishing a long career and caring for patients in the St. Peter area.

Dr. Kyle Rasmussen grew up in Northfield, MN, and attended the University of Minnesota where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Following his graduation, he attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Rasmussen graduated with distinction and received the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators Achievement award for his outstanding qualities as a scholar and clinician in operative dentistry.
As a lifetime patient at Riverside Dental Care, Dr. Rasmussen is eager to join our talented dental team and begin serving patients in the St. Peter area. Some of Dr. Rasmussen’s hobbies include athletics, hunting & fishing, classic muscle cars, and new tech. He is optimistic about starting his career at Riverside Dental Care, and aims to strengthen our reputation of providing quality dental care for many years.
